I had nothing to shoot, until I went to the fridge and saw a bag of grapes. I decided that they would be a good thing to smash. I got my 5 year old, gave him a hammer, set up 3 lights on some legal size paper, and we smashed grapes for a while. I know it could have been better, but at least I am in!

have not seen Nacho libre yet, but in terms of weirdness and originality, I say a hammer and a grape is a truly unique vision. better than my pathetic hammer attempt...

With shots like this you'll hit 6 with regularity. The capricious gods of math just beat you this time. A great shot!

it's highly unfortunate, but the muted background robs this image of life, for me, anyway. technically, it's an excellent shot, spot on for the challenge, but compositionally, it just doesn't grab me. maybe a tighter crop and a brighter, more contrasty background would have made it pop.

Squish! Time for new white bg material. ;^) Image is fine. Certainly stopped the motion...the spray is well defined and sharp. Nice to see a hammer being used on something other than a lightbulb - I'll give you creative points for that. He-he. Good luck.
