Slightly cropped, I then applied urban acid filter.....

This is a shot that I do not mind to have in my portfolio, no matter how it fares.Used my 10-22mm to capture this, AE at -1/3.

Shot late aternoon somewhere in Seoul where some teams were practicing in good spirit. I adored the atmosphere...

And I adore the photo! I'm so bummed that the voters dismissed this with a 4.99 score! Incredulous! I really love the expanse of it, how the way the players give scale to that huge field and the city stuff in the background. I even love the almost silhouette look of the players. To me, it enhances the entire scene of the photo.

Once again. . .I see how badly I suck at being on the same wavelength as the voters here :(

Congratulations on an awesome. . .ridiculously underrated photo!!!

I think the coloring you've chosen is appropriate for this image, kind of gritty similar to the sport. I wish we were up a little closer to the action though.

Your sports picture is a bit different with the wide angle. The PP and open space sets the mood well. It takes me to an unfamiliar location and that is a good thing.

Don't know if it is the post processing or time of day but lighting seems harsh and to contrasty for my taste. I would have liked to been brought more into the action, perhaps with not as much foreground.

What game is it? The goals are rather small, but that looks like a soccer ball. Something about the lighting in this seems odd. The faces are quite dark and the grass looks yellowish (same for the buildings in the top background). You have done a nice job stopping the motion per the challenge theme. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

a beautiful, timeless shot, yes. i think a square crop would have made this a better entry. also, if it had been shot from just a bit higher perspective, the far players' heads wouldn't be lost in the background.

This is too far away to give the impression of stopped action with any impact. Get closer to the subjects and the image should become much more powerful.

Photo is a little busy and dark.
