Interesting under-belly of a plane but not sure where the "stop motion" is evident in this image.

You really get a sense of weight in this picture.

I think for this challenge I need to see the plane in it's surroundings so I can see if it is really stop action. The picture doesn't say that to me.

beautiful shot, but no context to give even the illusion of 'stopping motion'. for all i know, you walked under it while it was parked on the tarmac.

Wow. Now that is detailed, you can dang near count the rivets! Question, how do I know this is moving? Just being a bit cynical (sp?), but seriously, it's hard for the viewer to get a sense of context here and the challenge calls for 'Stopped Motion'. If you've really captured this, this sharply, and this plane IS moving - then WOW! ;^) Good luck in the challenge.

great capture, but id prefer to see the entire plane

This might have been even more suitable for the From the Ground Up challenge.

I like how you have taken the view of a static display and given the appearance of stopped motion. Is this at Sheppard Air Force Base? Looks like one I took a picture of 12 years ago when I was a student there.

This is very disconcerting to look at......tippy, uncomfortable on the eye. Good try.

This is a wownderful picture of a jet. I wish I knew how you could get this close without your Telephoto lens you said you couldn't get in time for the airshow in Seattle in the "Shooting Air Show" Thread which you thanked me so much for my suggestions as to how to shoot Air Shows. Good luck with it. Do let me in on your secrets though.Shooting Air Shows
