Greetings from the Critique Club!

This is a very fun picture and what a great friend to jump in the river for you! Not many people would do that, LOL! :)

I love the clarity on the shot and the colors are fantastic. But honestly the first thing that jumped out at me (no pun intended) is the tilt on the horizon line. I feel like I'm going to slide right out the side of the shot and take all that water with me, LOL! :)

Next was the action of the shot itself. The clarity on the water was and is great! But if you could have caught them 1/2 in the water it would have had a much greater impact than just the water splash itself. And also the horizon and sky line offer nothing of real value to this shot except to show me where it happened. But it's drawing my attention away from what you really want me to see and that is the water stopped in motion.

But again, great colors, fantastic clarity and I love the overall idea!

I hope my comments help and Good Luck in future Challenges!

WOw! What 'splooshed?' The photograph almost seems a bit crooked, but I like it a lot.

Could you not catch her/him midair? Stiill cool with the splash. Looks a bit tilted and a bit oversharpened.

Looks a little too sharpened. Also, the water is going to drain all over my desk because the picture is tilted.
