I think this is a good idea, but the shot would probably be better with a bit of motion blur. If you could keep the bike focused and give the impression of moving really fast with the rest of the photo it'd be great. I like the arm in the rear view mirror.
I'm not sure if the action is the bike going down the road or if it is in the mirror. I can't tell what IS going on in the mirror, but I am not sure it should be happening on the road...
The only part of this image that really says action is the speedometer and I'm not sure that alone is enough to convey a sense of action for the photo. This photo unfortunately lacks a point of interest. The windshield is dirty and buggy and the scenery is not especially appealing or interesting. Sorry.
