Nice use of dead space. But since there is so much dead space, I would have put the boat in the rule of third (a little lower). |

I had nearly the exact same image to submit for this challenge, but I had too much noise that I couldn't get rid of. Great idea (of course) and you did it well. I like the barely visible horizon. |

I like the way "far end" is missing from the photo. The dash of concrete subject (ship) actually helps in highlighting the vastness of the environment. On the second look I actully find it scary to see the profound "nothingness" communicated by the photo. Bumping from 7(first pass) to 9(during comments). Hope this does well for you. |

I like the way the sea and sky merge into a solid looking background, giving a more simple, peaceful feeling to the shot. |
