 Grabbed a handful of nuts and bolts that had spent the summer outside on some old shelves. Put them on an old bbq we're ready to throw out on the weathered wood, setup and snapped away! Post-processing was essentially crop, hue/saturation adjustment, brightness/contrast, levels, curves, ran through neat image, than finished it off with an unsharp mask.

I am pretty sure this does not break the rules of basic editing, I couldn\'t find for sure if it did, but I am worried that applying unsharp mask after neat image might be a violation since unsharp mask is technically a filter.

I gave this one a 6 in what I felt was a low scoring challenge - so that may translate to a 7 or so normally :)

I like the DOF and the nuts in the foreground have a lot of interest to them. Where I think the faults are in this image are the slanted horizon and also the way the line of nuts leads me to the OOF pile at the back. If the line lead me in a curve it may be more appealling than the stright line that seems to take me to the top-right whereas the pile is more in the top-left.
