Nice to see you you're having some progress. :)
Sadly the quality of your camera (at least for still purporses) seems to be pretty low. I guess you will have to compensate with overwhelming creativity - keep up the good work!

Focus and exposure no good.

a little out of focus, but I get the concept

colors look faded and the lack of focus really hurts this image.

Focus?
08/04/2006 11:26:52 PM
Spelling and bit of focus required maybe?
08/04/2006 02:36:21 PM
too dark, too red, too blurred for my tastes, and "pieces" is spelled wrong in the title

Good idea !
But really out of focus and the flash has blown out the details in the highlights and given a very uneven light. Shooting without the flash but with a desk lamp as lateral light could have helped a lot (and manual focusing the camera if possible, focus in low light is always tricky with certain cameras, I know that :(

Blurry image and bad poker hand unless dueces are wild and that isn;t poker, LOL.

I don't get it. Why would you choose those cards for a poker shot. that hand is Ace high and its soft and overexposed.
08/02/2006 12:54:12 PM
Needs to have a sharper focus.
08/02/2006 10:57:45 AM
A little too much glare and OOF
08/02/2006 09:39:28 AM
out of focus

Interesting idea but a few things really ruin this shot for me. First the lighting, being so harsh on the cards makes the white part blow out, very distracting. Gradual lighting can be effective but in this case it's not. Also the focus is completely off, very fuzzy to me, not a soft focus but fuzzy. An image like this almost begs for sharp focus and clarity.

The colors also seem a bit washed out. Again, not a bad entry, just needs some work! A 3
