 Converted from RAW. Upped the contrast, cropped, sharpened, and saved for WEB. This Mantis showed up yesterday after I had hoped for a green bug all week. A blessing in disguise. I have hopes that the impact of this pose will overpower the focus problems. Oh how I wish it had been spot on.

I know it's hard to catch insects, but the photo would have been even better if the focus was more on the eyes/head.

OK.. I'm really burned out on the insect pictures, but this one had me literally laughing out loud. GREAT shot in my opinion!! I'll give it a 10 just for the him factor. Excellent title for it too... really makes the shot that much better.

I can see why you wanted to use this shot, it's very cute and the title is perfect. However, it's not in focus...looks like you just missed.
