Challenge: Color on Color (Advanced Editing IV*)
Camera: Canon EOS-D60
Location: Belhaven College, Jackson, Mississippi
Date: Jul 22, 2006
Aperture: f 2.5
ISO: 1000
Shutter: 1/125
Galleries: Performance, Action
Date Uploaded: Jul 23, 2006

This was taken at a performance of the ballet "The Prodigal's Journey."I was fortunate to catch the dancers at the right time. The stage lighting was very limited and made it a real challenge. Editing was minor with the removal of a small backgroud light and adjusting color levels, contrast, and saturation. I used a 50mm 1.4 lens to maximize the light.

well captured in probably difficult lighting. Thought about adjusting the white balance a bit?

What a great image this would be for the "Action" challenge. But not really a color on color image.

Lots of color and nice shot! But color on (the same) color? I don't see how this meets the requirement.

I think you missed the idea here - to use the same color background as the subject(s)
Theme: Classic / System / Light / Dark
