A special thanks to my step-sister for allowing me to slather her in gold body paint, and to her boyfriend for being ever so patient and providing that golden touch.

Post editing: Curves, contrast, healing brish, skin-softening to make her look more statuesque, burned out part of the black backdrop that was illuminated more brightly than the rest.

What a GREAT idea and a great model! So creative. I really think 5.8 is way too low for this exotic photo!

Good as gold! Sharper focus would have kicked this closer to the top, I think.

That's gotta put a kink in your love life... Nice concept and well executed low key shot.

I'll give you a ten just for getting the model to put all that junk in her hair. I'll bet it took forever to get clean! Very nice photo too. I like the lighting alot, but maybe the "touch" could be a little softer. jmo

Really like the image of the woman but think the hand detracts from the artistry.

a little blurry, which is a pity cause you obviously went through a lot of trouble...the lighting is also a little flat...sorry...I really wanted to be more positive

Finally a title that explains all this midas stuff. I don't know if its the gold paint or the brightness from the lights but it puts a very soft feel to the photo thats unwarrented. Subtle enough to almost be intentional. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <6>

this is very gorgeous, but the hand is totally superfluous - it just doesn't fit either in terms of composition or in stylistic terms - hate to say it, but it kind of undoes the fantastic work and obvious effort of getting your model just right. perhaps the hand doesn't look kingly enough, and the hand is too close to the bottom edge of the shot. it's still a great picture, but feel unbalaced. 8.

good idea, subject looks a little soft on the focus. Hand is OK, but face is moving or out of focus.

Beautiful shot. I really like it. I think it would have been just as effective without the hand in the pic as well. BUT, it's still WONDERFUL!
