 I've spent most of the weekend doing detail shots of the Alto but non really grabbed me (apart from 1 but I'd already reformatted the CF). So here is another self portrait. No, I can't play (guess you could tell that) but have been practicing my embouchure ;)

I 'purchased' the Sax with a gentlemans agreement that I can take it back on Monday and receive all but 25 pounds back. However I may just give learning to play it ago (and annoy the neighbours)

Love the 'emotion' in this shot and on my screen the Sax definitely looks Gold (calibration needed me thinks!). I felt this image was nicely composed with good detail in the Sax and the persons face and arms :o)

The selective desat left the sax a little green. If you can tweak that this image will be even better. What emotion on the guy's face!

I like the selective desaturation but I think the black and white part is too contrasty, would have worked better with less contrast IMO.

this is good, and I don't want to be picky, but my eyes go to his hairy arms...it's a great pose and a great action shot, obviously live...good job

The desaturation here really works nicely. It's a 10 for me. The character of the man is a really good capture.
