Took many fotos with different apertures, many angles
It was nice cuz the froggy was protecting her eggs so she would rotate to look at me..
i had full body shots but at the end chose this one because my girlfriend dad said it was uncommonly good :)
I like the rhythm of the leafs and the sharp face

Shot during daylight

Somehow I missed this one during voting...too bad because I love it! It is definitely one of the best amphibian pics on this site, and as a wildlife biology student I've looked at about all of them! Contrary to the others' opinoins I would not crop off the bottom 1/4. The only thing that distracts for me is the plant on the left of the pic beside the frog, and that could be easily cloned out in Photoshop if you wanted.

Great work!

The DOF is PERFECT, You managed to pin-point it to convey the frog and it's environment.

Should've scored much higher imo.

I gave this an 8. Really liked the composition. Good capture. Focus looks near perfect. Only real thing was the change of color/green at the fore, which works well in with the other colors/pads, but if the focus were a little sharper (difficult I realize), may have given this even more of an edge in my opinion.

Should have been top 10. I missed this one in voting. I wish I didn't, because I would have scored high.

Quite the stare he has going on. Very nice shot, good colors and the blur of the pads frame him in quite well. Bumping up.

Nice DOF. however my attention is shifted from the frog. I might have gone with a different composition

I love this face. I would have cropped and inch below her face and extended into the black space above her head. But that's just me......

Heeeee. Great sense of perspective. Nice DOF. I might crop right below that black spot on the left in the foreground. It would change the shape of the image, but I'm all for square crops. ;~D 7

a tighter crop might have been better

lol - this made me giggle. I love the straight on perspective. Only suggestion would be to crop off about a 1/4 inch of the bottom.

good use of DOF and I like the subject .. perhaps a tighter crop without him in the centre might have worked better

oh my goodness, this is superb! maybe a square crop with the botton 1/4 cropped out would have made this even more impactful...hope you ribbon with this 9
