 Well, this is my first attempt on "extreme processing" (thanks to "advanced editing" for this challenge).

This is actually taken during Sandstorm so it was very "flat" due to poor visibility and lots of sand grains in air. The actual color offcourse was "sandy" :)

Post-processing :

- Cropped
- Levels
- Converter to b/w
- Graduated tint (blue)
- Minor cloning of power cable
- Glow filter
- Color temperature adjusted to cold
- Saved for web
- NeatImage with some sharpening

this is really nice. i liked how soft the tree appeared to be, and the way it moved with the wind. the empty space around the tree gives this photo a weird sort of serenity, which i think makes the picture. good work.

one of my ribbon picks -- whispy sense of motion and the fog softens all sharp details leaving only the hint of nature.

Quite a work of art. A most pleasing wall hanger. 7 I realize that this is an understatement but its beauty is nevertheless haunting. Another bump!

Whoah, why is this so washed out at the bottom?
This would've been an EXCELLENT picture if it wasn't so washed out.
Or maybe that was the effect that you were trying to give?

I love this photo, it's so original and beautiful. My only nitpick is some strange vignetting on the left hand corners. Very nice!
