| Obviously I dont have a trained eye, but I cant imagine some of these pics got a higher score than this one. Its a beautiful shot. Im a sucker for a beautiful sunset/rise. I think the transition from color to color from top to bottom is simply breathtaking. Wish I had been there to see it for real. But the pic will have to do. It is now my fav desktop. |

| Great job! I love when a shot can take me away to that place or make me wish I was there. I see a spot in this pic for my beach chair... Anyway, I loved the colors of the tropical sea, they are very true. I loved the clarity exhibited in the water left behind from the last wave. I loved the rolling of the new wave coming in. I loved the shadows created by the rocks. I loved the soft feeling of the sand, and the division between the wet and dry sand. I loved the silhouttes of the palms on top of the rocks as they set against the color of the sky. The sky has alot of drama and movement, as well as great color. I'm giving this an 8, not because it's not wonderful, it's just not as exciting as some other shots in this challenge. |

| The colors in this photo are excellent,the texture inthe rock formation had a strong balance,and the sky is just right.....having now looked at the rest back to bump 7 to top shelf..10 |
