This dog likes to go surfing so I got a portrait of him with his board - Better pics of him surfing but when I read the rules it seemed that it needed some land in it? Also this is my first entry and I presume I can't get rid of dust spots in basic edit. Lastly when i reduce my file size to 640 on the largest edge i end up having a resolution of 3 - Seems far too low?
Cheers
Jeff

Did you ever put this in your portfolio in the proper size? I still think it's an awesome shot!

photo is too small

Too small but it seems to be a great picture.

Very nice but the photo should be larger.

This is way too small. While there are good reasons for making a vertical shot smaller than the maximum allowed, it should fill the screen. This is just too hard to see.

I'll bet this is a great photo, but can't see it. TOO SMALL
07/24/2006 02:07:40 PM
darn...I wish it was larger
07/23/2006 06:02:56 PM
small.

Looks like a very adorable picture. i wish you used the maximum dimension allowed.

For one the image is too small. Secondly the shadows in front of the dog are too harsh. With the dog having dark fur around his/her eyes, you would do better to have the sun coming from the side - raking across his front. This would not only lighten the face, but also bring out texture of the fur better

would be nice to have a larger size to see more details.
07/21/2006 04:40:45 PM
picture needs to be larger

Looks like a great pic with good exposure, considering you have the sun in there...But...It's way too small. Darn! Let's see a bigger version once the challenge is over.

This is good, would like to see it larger.
07/21/2006 09:55:16 AM
I wish it was much bigger so it'd kind of hard to judge but it looks like you have a great composition and shot here!

It's hard to tell how great of a pic this would have been if the image size was a larger. Definitely a hi-quality shot though.

Great job

Cool shot even if you didn't post the max size image which I am sure you got hammered for. I don't care. I still like it. Good job with your wide angle lens. (8)

Looks like the lighting and subject are very strong ... without more pixels though it's tough to compete.
07/19/2006 10:26:00 PM
would have more impact at max size allowed. Cute dog, and I like the sun in this shot.
07/19/2006 07:55:03 PM
Nice image too bad its too small to really view.
07/19/2006 07:46:22 PM
ohhhh, I wish this image were larger so I could have a better look!
07/19/2006 05:10:55 PM
looks like a great image. would be stronger and score even higher if it were bigger. looks like really nice composition and focus but too small to tell. keep it up.
07/19/2006 04:37:40 PM
Dog's are funny even if they're too small.
07/19/2006 01:04:57 PM
Nice photo, why make it the size of a stamp?
07/19/2006 09:40:56 AM
Good Picture, Nice ballance between foreground exposure and background. The image is a little small though. The site allows you to use 640 pixels for your larges dimension. Make use of all the size you can.
07/19/2006 08:26:58 AM
Nice image, way too small though
07/19/2006 05:38:38 AM
I really like this, but wish it was a bit bigger!
07/19/2006 05:34:12 AM
why so small? really hard to judge at this size...he's a great dog though
07/19/2006 03:19:51 AM
I wish the size was bigger, what a cute picture!
07/19/2006 02:41:12 AM
What looks like a great image is way spoilt by being way too small - its only 182x274 pixels!!! It could be 233% bigger and would get a much higher score if voters could see the detail.
07/19/2006 02:19:25 AM
Kinda small photo, but amusing.
