Gorgeous contrasts. Some of my favorite colors here. Great work!

Great job! This is an exceptional photo, with so much going on. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, as are the colors. The sun hitting the ground behind the house in contrast to the shadowed foreground is very nice! As is the sky reflected off the surface of the water. The sky is beautiful also, as are the mountains. I'd like to vote this one a 10. HOWEVER. A water shot, or even a shoreline shot, does not always mean 'beach' in my opinion. And meeting the challenge, to me, is the first and most important thing, if that isn't done, then anything else is unimportant. Doesn't mean it's not a beautiful and creative shot, because in this case, it absolutely is! I do love it! I went back and forth on how to score your pic, but I do vote low for those that I don't think meet the challenge, so to be consistant, I am voting this lower than I want for the reasons stated above. I am adding this to my favorites though.

What our attention should be brought to is too dark. More light it would be a 9

The barn completes the composition - very pretty.

Is that a beach? Nice photo though.

This looks like a wonderful location. It seems to have a bit of extra saturation in the picture though especially shown in the green grass and the roof of the barn.

I'm guess Bear Music shot this (but I could very easily be wrong). Awesome image! The curve of the river is elegant.

I'm marveling over this photo and how you captured such a great dynamic range with no loss of detail in the shadow and no blow-outs in the sky. Absolutely beautiful photograph!

this doesnt really provoke "beach" in my head, but it certainly is pretty!

The movement from shadow to light here is very nice, and the exposure for both is right on - no over or under exposure. Overall, just a heck of an image. Might be cool to see it in B&W, too. 10

Absolutely gorgeous shot. The blue tones in this photo are awesome. :) I also like how the river leads you back into the shot and towards the mountains. Though I realize that this obviously must have been shot in the shadow of a mountain or hill, it would have scored even higher with me if it were taken closer to sunset and without the visible threshold between shadow and direct sunlight. Great photo though! :D

Very nice...maybe just a touch to blue? It makes it seem (to me) like a painting and not a photo.
