Thanks everyone for the comments. I am happy that I scored a good above 5 in my first submission.
Mhendi is herb when applied leaves a a drak color which stays for weeks. Mhendi is used on many (should say all) Auspicious ocassions in India.
Well here my friend is getting married and the groom has got his hands beautifull decorated with Mhendi. |

Yes, these are lines. But it's not a very engaging pose. It's more like "hold up your hands and I'll take a straight-up picture."
That said, as a snapshot, it's a great memento. I bet there's an interesting story behind those designs! |

I love Mendhi and I think this would score a LOT higher if the background was different and if the glare from the flash (or lighting above) was gone. Beautiful designs! It wouldn't even have to be in color if you changed the B/G. 6 |
