This is a Texas Landmark and has tons of history. I was amazed they just leave it open all the time. It was built in 1870's and its open to all. I never saw one other person that even stopped and looked at it.

I thought it was so cool. You can just walk in and sit on the old pews, stand behind the pulpit.

Very interesting and fun to photograph.

Darn...not Virginia. :(

Thought you were going to lead me to a new subject to check out. ;^) Oh well, maybe my next visit to Texas? BTW, I didn't vote on this - was just passing thru making comments.

Now I'm going to have to look for this! ;^) Unless, of course, you mean Fredericksburg, Texas...I'm assuming Virginia. Good luck neighbor!

Concerning the image, there are certainly lines to use. Did you consider closing the right door enough to block that back window (given permission to do do)? I think that window is distracting a little. Doors closed maybe? A touch more contrast could liven up the exterior wall some. Just some thoughts, and all JMO.
