 Backlit with sunlight. This was also my first time trying to take pictures of hummingbirds and i was surprised at the outcome.

Monstrously good wildlife shot. Lines though? I wonder if enough people will accept it's qualifying for that? It'll do for me, though.

Great catch. Like the backlight. I wish my hummers would pose like this, but they're too busy trying to fight each other.

I have to say this is the most haunting image I have every seen of a hummingbird! Such a unique presentation of this tiny bird...So poetic...beautiful work.

Great chiarascuro lighting. Intense action. This is easily the best hummingbird photo I've ever seen. A 10.

The more I look at this shot, the more impressed I am! The lighting caught me right off the bat -excellent! The fact that there is so little motion in it's wings, with this level of light, is absolutely amazing!

Great timing, lovely light on the head and brilliant detail. On my screen I can't see the eye, otherwise I would have given it 10. Will 9 do?
