I love taking long shorts at night experimenting with my camera. This is my first good photo captured in the darkness with long exposure using the night shot feature of my camera. There was no light on the beach (absolute dark) except the distance restaurent lights.

Basic Editing using Picasa
- Cropped
- One level sharpen

I hope my entry will not be bad and wish it will score a good in the challenge. :)

Great job! I like night shots, and this one has alot going on in it. I love the reflection in the water of the lights, but also how the little floats on the roped area are highlighted. The sky has some clouds that are hinting at, and the sand in the foreground adds some interest. What knocks this that with the exception of the gazebo at the far right of this photo, the buildings do not have any definition to them because of the lights themselves. So part of what makes this interesting, also hurts the photo. I'm giving it a 5 for meeting the challenge without leaving me to guess about it, and for the elements of interest in this photo.

Reflections really add to the picture. There appears to be a bit of noise.

I see what you were going for here, but the land light has blown out too much and there isn't anything really interesting happening in the sky.

The overblown lights reflecting off the white building are a little distracting. Very nice colors though.

The bright light is a bit too bright

I feel it would have been better if you made the shot a few minutes earlier, so the sky could be brighter.
