 This has been cropped with a little USM applied then compressed to meet the 150Kb requirement.

The original is one of few pictures taken the first day I had the camera of a willing subject in the garden. The weather was fairly overcast and taken with flash suppressed.

Welcome to DPC -

The colour is, as you say, spot on. The quality of the camera is obvious in the detail in this shot. I am a bit biased towards Fuji's as my first digital camera was/is the MX2700, now have a s602z and am taking so many photos with it. This is a wonderful site and i am certain you will enjoy it here. Good luck with your new camera - its a wonderful bit of kit.
