I really like the idea here and composition. If there was a bit more light on the child and the bubble stood out more it would make it even better.

A nice attempt at a similar photo from another challenge. The blue sky looks nice.

However ...
The girl's face is too dark and too far into the corner. And she's out of focus. Finally, the bubble's too far into the opposite corner.

I suggest trying this again. Not for the challenge, but to improve this picture for your portfolio.

I missed the bubble when I rated this, so I̢۪m glad I came back to comment (and a bump). You caught a very wonderful moment and the smile shows she is having fun. However, that smile is really the story here and fill flash would have helped to bring out the details in her face. The good news is that some of the detail can be regained using advanced editing. The bad news is that it isn̢۪t allowed for this challenge. You may want to revisit the cropping of this image also. I would like to see just a touch of her body to connect the arm/shoulder to her face.

unfortunately the bubble isnt as obvious as i think it needs to be and bc of that maybe more would work out nicely.

The idea is good, it does a good job of identifying the title. The subject is not lit properly however, and it detracts from the photo quite a bit. Her entire face and arm are shadowed. I'd like to see this photo with some fill in flash. Don't be afraid to use flash outdoors, it will remove harsh shadows under the eyes, nose, lips and chin in mid day sun. It will also help in situations like this, where the sky is bright, but the subject itself looks as though they are in a shadow.

I guess it's a bit to dark vor Joy, but I love the composition!

girl is way too dark, bubble should be larger/more visible

good idea...perhaps a reflector to light up the face would have made this more impactful, but I love the comp
