Challenge: Perspective III (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Kodak P850
Location: Colorado - Summit County
Date: Jul 6, 2006
Aperture: f-2.8
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/25
Date Uploaded: Jul 9, 2006

Taken at sunset. Had problems with fish swimming on the surface causing small waves in the pond. Finally got one without waves or ripples. I was using my wife's camera because it has image stabilation. It works.
Cropped, levels, contrast, resized, sharpened and rotated.

Wow, that water is dead still, what a gorgeous shot. Just a though, perhaps violating the rule of thirds and splitting it down the middle would of worked here.

Just wish this was a lot sharper. I think that would help it out
07/18/2006 03:53:45 PM
I think this would score much better if you hadn't flipped it.

Awesome shot. I think you should have kept the picture right side up. 10!

If it wasn't the drops I wouldn't know.

This is without a doubt one of my favorite photos. Congrats on a very nice photo no matter how you look at it.

Nice shot! Down. :)

Wow this is an interesting picture. Putting it upside down is fairly disorienting--makes me dizzy. I think I'm a little old fashioned--I tend to like things right side up.

This really is amazing. I'm thinking that it's upside down because the reflection in the water is brighter and sharper than the image on top. But it's amazing that you can't tell. . .and I could be wrong.

It is very beautiful. I love it! 9

wow, such awesome clarity!!

Pfff, too easy, this is obviously rotated upside down as there are raindrops in the water visible in the upper left corner. Nice shot :)

A nice reflection shot. A dubious perspective.
07/14/2006 12:18:11 AM
10 :) nicely done

Why is the top blurry?
07/13/2006 03:03:03 PM
Cool shot, I like the flipped-over composition. Definitely an outside-the-box interpretion of perspective that wins points with me.

This is upside down. :-)
07/13/2006 06:18:51 AM
I'm pretty sure you flipped the image...
