| I like the composition of this picture but personally I think it would have been improved by showing the whole of the lighter. But the white of the cigarette and the flame read very well against the darkness. I like the way you've used light here. |

| First thing I thought of was Britney Speares lol. Definately a different POV, v interesting. But perhaps a close up of the cig actually being lit with more interesting features like the hand and the face... =) |

| The simplicity of composition and color in this photo is impressive. I studied it several times and saw more and more detail each time: The angle of the cigarette, the clarity of the flame, the right forefinger in the lower left corner, etc. In addition it suits the challenge very well. I scored it higher each time I looked at it and now it's going to 10. |

| It took me a minute! Very creative. How do you get the background so dark? Do you do it in the camera with settings or post processing? Great idea. |
