 klstover: So I'm dodging and it comes out okay but when I burn it comes out all GRAY ARGH.
KY: So you use the burn tool (with a large radius) and it darkens your picture to a gray color? What color is the base?
klstover: Base?
KY: What color are you trying to darken.
klstover: Lightish orange
KY: So you want it to be a darker orange? And it is turning grayish orange? Have you made sure that when you zoom out to 100% it still doesn't look bad?
klstover: No. It is turning GRAY.
klstover: And I'm zoomed.
WH: Can you get any black at all into the picture?
WH: I was thinking the levels were off and black is now grey in the picture
TD: Are there multiple layers, and if so, are you aiming at the right one?
klstover: One layer.
klstover: WH: That shouldn't be it.
klstover: Well. I just did what I wanted with an adjustment layer. So yeah. I just want to learn what is going on with stuff.


Okay, so besides all that, I did some levels and maybe contrast stuff (I really don't remember, with the dodgeburn saga going on.)

the colors are great in this! i like the angle, too. focus is dead on... very nice!
