It seems to me that if you were already this close, you could have gotten a little closer and more intimate. A lower angle would be an improvement. The subject is too much in the middle. It looks like it was taken as a snapshot, rather than a carefully composed image.

I would have loved this pic if the leaf wasn't covering up the left side as much.
