Number 10

Made a template from cardboard, and went out at 5.30am to catch a sunrise, alas when I arrived the wind was blowing quite strong, had trouble setting it up, taped one side of template to upright on a building, and hand held the other side,using the remote.The hardest part was getting the camera to focus on the back ground and not the template.

Visiting this again some many many months after the origional challenge, it still takes my breath away.
This so deserved to ribbon, as it is an awesome image, re the way you excuted it.....

If they had Oobies when you took this I think you would have gotten it hands down, very creative shot, I thought I had commented on it already but I guess I hadn't, I gave you a nine, nice work.

Now this is very clever! Well-executed, too. Lovely colors in the sunrise and the black really accentuates that. Nicely done!

I like this shot a lot -- very creative take on this challenge. In response to your note about getting the camera to focus on the distance, you could just pre-focus on the target you want, then switch your lens to manual focus so you don't have to worry about it any more.

Oh yeah, nicely done. Love the golden colours in the seascape, which imo, looks like a ripper in its own right. Good work with this original piece - 9 :)

It hard for me to imagine that these windows actually exist somewhere. So that means you most likely created this for the challenge. That's thinking outside the box and I think you'll be rewarded for you effort. Nicely done. 9
