i wish the dart board were more in focus than the car....and speaking of the car....with it wasn't there....too distracting...maybe try just a shot of the board.

Missed the focus too. ;-) But I'm sure you've gotten lots of that already. Could have been a good idea, but the photo's just too fuzzy. Also, the angle and position could have been done better, maybe getting the numbers more horizontal, and definitely getting the car out of the background.

Unfortunately nothing in on focus

At least the other shot wasn't exactly inaccurate!

The composition and focal length makes me think the car is the subject.

that's a stylish dart board, but the front dart should really be in focus.
09/06/2003 05:37:25 AM
Interesting idea, but perhaps a wider aperture to ensure a sharpe image throughout and the car in the bg is a little distracting =)

I like the idea, but I woul've got rid of the car in the back, that only disctracts, and the focus could be better on the dart that missed. Is this a sepia intended picture ?

good idea, but not well executed. perhaps a slightly different angel would eliminate the distracting car in the back. also, focus please! :o)

The best focus seems to be on the car in the background, not on the subject matter. For this "oops" the dart in the foreground should be in focus.

I love a shallow depth of field, but I'm not finding the center point of focus on this pic.
09/04/2003 07:06:40 AM
Nice concept but the whole picture is not in focus, nowhere..
09/04/2003 05:04:56 AM
A bit blurry - where's the focal point?
09/04/2003 04:52:27 AM
would have been better with focus made on the foreground's dart
09/04/2003 02:37:17 AM
Good idea. But it would have been better if your subject was in focus.

Your first shot hit bull. Your second missed. I'll split the difference and give you a 5. Fair?

This is a great focus with wonderfull contrast. It might be better if the car in the background wasn't in the picture and if the center dart was in focus. I like the out of focus look of the close dart though.

The angle made this a difficult shot... the car in the background is a bit distracting too.

bad focus
09/03/2003 01:48:51 PM
Wow, went right through the metal. Can't see what is in focus.
09/03/2003 11:21:19 AM
would be great if it was in focus
09/03/2003 04:12:42 AM
Bad focus on the Oops

NIce idea, bad photo
