| Nice contrast (both subject and lighting) and nice comp. DOF is interesting but should probably include all of the son's hand. Just my humble opinion. |

| I don't care for the shadow on the thumb because it fades into the background, but otherwise I like this photo. |

| I like the composition, especially with the solid black background, I wish that your depth of field were deeper, but I like the desaturated look that you've got here, very nice emotive photograph |

| Nice idea, I know you were probabaly going for the soft look, but I feel a little more sharpness, not a lot mind you, would help here. Strong image. I hope it does well. |
