 This is my first challenge entry. I actually took this picture on the 3rd of July due to the fact I'm in the Air force stationed overseas. So the USAF celebrates Independence Day on the 3rd so as to appease the locals. I hope this is acceptable as I have no opportunity to shoot fireworks on the 4th and this picture turned out pretty decent last nite.
Editing included:
Exposure-to rid sky of bluish hue
Crop-to remove distracting fireworks below
Added framing
Resize for web

Hi, write a critique on an image from a contest where the subject are fireworks is very difficult because the traditional evaluation criteria often are by passed.
I think that is a good image, the composition is classic and there aren't overexposure areas. The colours are tenuous and pleasant.
About the frame I prefer a thinner line. the photograph is good in the complex but it lacks an element that the face to notice between the others.
