Editing steps:

1. Curves - I clicked on options and then "Enhance Monochromatic Contrast".

2. Gradient Map - applied just to the ship and water (black to transparent).

3. Curves - I adjusted the line downward a bit adding a point near the bottom of the line (Input 49, Output 30)

4. Gradient Tool (not map) - I drew a gradient from the top down to provide that dark top and also a smaller version of it at the bottom for the water.

5. Unsharp Mask - I used Amount: 21, Radius: 41.3 and Threshold: 4.

6. Clone Tool - I cloned out one little spot near the horizon on the right that looked wierd to me.

7. Smart Sharpen - I used Amount: 73, Radius: 0.3, Remove: Lens Blur with "More Accurate" checked.

8. Curves - I used another adjustment just at the top to darken the fade just a bit.

9. Selective Color - I made the blacks 18% darker and just applied it on the boat.

10. Save for web.
