In a small church not far from where I live, there are two Bibles with misprints. One has become known as "The vinegar bible" -- as the parable of the vineyard became known as the parable of the vinegar due to a spelling mistake.
This bible was much easier to photograph as it is much bigger than the other bible.

It was a very long exposure, and there is glass in front of the bible. To avoid camera shake and reflections I put my lens converter on but without a lens, I then pressed the end of the lens converter against the class to eliminate reflections and camera shake. It's a technique I haven't used very often but does appear to work.

I gave this picture a 10, yet when I look at it here it tells me that there are 0 10s and there is a little red mark right next to it indicating that my vote is the 0 10. This is weird. I really liked this shot, and honestly tried to score it high. Why the score would not be counted beats me, because I definitely voted on more than 20% (not all pictures, but more than 20%).

Well, i think the idea of it was good (fitting challenge) and the lighting on the words is good also. I guess if I have to be critical about it overall my thought would be, that photography is 'visual' in a shot that requires 'reading' the observer to ' get it' in some ways to me it loses the essence of 'image'. Perhaps adding a visual dimension reflecting the words.

Where did you get this? I read up a little recently about printing/editing mistakes in the King James bible over the years - I don't remember this one specifically, but it's a pretty good idea. I think framing and lighting could have been improved, but it's probably a tough shot to do in an interesting way.

Don't want to be petty but that's just an old - style typeface where 's' looked a bit like 'f'. Love the paper style though!

This made me laugh so much! It's just the funniest entry. And it's well done too - I like it, very clear, nice texture, nice border. 10 from me.
