absolutely STUNNING! This is so powerful... and tragic. The sepia tone was a perfect choise I think, because it is usally associated with "oldness" and thus "death." The simplicity of your composition also is perfect; it grabs the viewer's attention. EXCELLENT shot!!! |

haha, that's terrible, but my mind just reeled to "To Kill a Mockingbird." The cover of my book had a picture in a similar, grainy sepia (of radically different subject, but still...) |

Very cool! Can you get it to do it again and capture the exact moment? I think I'd pay for a print of that - especially if it were a crow! ;-) |

Incredible. Great shot, well composed, with a strong impact, and the colors enhance the sense of death. |

Man there are some morbid shots in this challenge amongst all the silly ones. Well...quite morbid and a bit unsettling, but quite well shot none the less. |

I like the way you did your focusing on this piece. The color you chose makes the piece very dramatic. Compostion is very good. |

Very nice! I never seen a similar thing! The theme is correct but the quality of the shot is not optimal. Maybe you would be use b&w. 4 |

eew. is that bird really dead? wow. i think cropping out some more of the left might be a good idea. emphasis the verticality of the subject. also, a bit dark. lose the detail in the bird. |

This is one of the best photos I've seen on DPC. I like the "classic" look of it, and the harmonious composition. Shots like this is why I became interested in photography in the first place.

Oh - the tragedy! This just goes to show that there is a lot of humour in death sometimes! ;) Poor little fella, but at least his death wasn't in vain - he's going to win a ribbon on DPChallenge. [10] |
