 I was minding my own bussiness, sitting down just mucking around with the zoom when I came accros Joyah. She was playing the computer and in the background I noticed that about 5 meters behind her there was a window, glaring white light through it this was the perfect chance of a unique sillhouette capture. I started snaping away. This was the best that turned out. Enjoy!

I appreciate the simplicity here, but think the composition could use a little more thought. Is there a reason that the background shadow intersects with the subject's chin? The shallow depth of field works to good advantage for the background, but perhaps needs to be just a bit deeper to make sure the silhoutte is sharply focused throughout.

Although the subject looks stationary, it just doesn't come across as a strong subject choice for this challenge. I would have like to have seen you shoot this from a little lower perspective to capture more of the chin in silhouette. A very nice balance of dark and light space.

i like this, i wish the backgroung was totally light colour though without that black patch at the bottom, the composition would be stronger then, IMO.

Good silhouette (did I spell that right). I like the delineation between the chin and the black line. Only criticism are the stray hairs at the top of the shot.
