 A very difficult challenge because there will be so many excellent pictures of flowers. I chose to be simple. I found these tiny daisies down by the pond that my son and I enjoy fishing at. I took over 50 pictures over 3 days under different lighting conditions before I found the one that I liked. Very little was done in final processing. Some slight cloning to eliminate minor imperfections, a small adjustment in the levels and sharpened. Neat Image was used on the final result to soften the grain.

This was one of my favorites in the challenge. A 5.9! I can't believe it. I gave it a 9.

8 - Very nice composition and simplicity. Like the detail in the buds. 'If only' a little more detail and lighting/brightness on the open flower, make this even better in my opinion.

I really like this shot. The shadows set it apart from the other shots with similar flowers. Very nice - 8.
