 Took this at a family gathering with excellent "golden hour" lighting generously provided by the sunset. Just took basic adjustments, Hue/Saturation, Color Balance, Brightness Contrast. Never done a flower shot in my life. I realise there is a dull set of leaves imposing on the left, but I like it. It puts a favorable perspective on the flowers IMHO, makes them look 'tucked in'.

Thanks for the comments. I like encouragement, but the more specifics as to how to improve or what went wrong the better. I just hope with each new entry my scores go up :).

You subject lacks the detail needed to make it stand out and the brown petals to the lower left is very distracting. The photograph it self looks very soft overall. I wish you the best in this and future challenges.
