So I am plugging down the line looking at the different versions of this shot. Really liked the first one (original edit I believe). Great colors and feel. Had an almost plastic like feel from the fifties (sounds bad but is meant in a good way - really). Funky, smooth colors that almost look like a painting. Then I look at the first black and white and I say "oooh" that is better. The black and white treatment gives it a totally different feel and attitude. Would like to have seen maybe a bit of vognetting around the pic to bring the mood in a tad bit more. But then I hit this one. I thikn this one is the best (and by far the most extreme) edit. The high key work great. You have great shadows working in them all and in this edit they really accentuate the key items - hat, glasses, lips, bra. The shades and textures in those 4 items are good contrasts to each other and I could see this one )and the other 2) as posters. The last two you posted didnt hold as much "oooh" for me. The crops were not as effective. But the processing in all of them is excellent. |

like the high key effect the most out of all of them, suits the mood of the picture and the subject matter. The stark contrast between her outfit and the rest also intensifies the image. |
