 Dragged the pot out the backyard and used our lawn for the background.
Adjusted curves, levels, Hue/Sat, Selective colour. Reduced hilights and shadows.

Defenitely one of my favorites. And no, I don't say this in all the photos I comment. It really is a great photo. The contrast, the bokeh and ultimately the subject! Nice job!

That's pretty naughty ... I'm looking at this at work y'know! :] ... oops, did I say that? Anyway, great subject and beautiful photograph. I'm gonna guess this strikes the 'fancee' of the dpc crowd.

Amazing flower, great detail and colours. to me there is a slightly distracting 'mark' on the petal/base of the 'red hot poker'. 8

Good placement in the frame. Glare on flower is a bit distracting. Would like to see more DOF too. The centre part is tack sharp and has great detail.
