My 10 year old son in his practice jersey. This is one intense kid when it comes to football.Took some advise on this shot and got the one eye boy/dolphin effect.

This photo could also be titled, 'Determination' or even 'Half-Blind Determination'. My eye was first taken to the cross-bar of the helmet. Then I saw the hair issue and a determined set to the eye and facial muscles. The jersey color contrast, placement and lighting enhance that sensation. The holes on the shoulder add to the 'sharpness' of the photo. Later on I noticed that the dolphin logo echos the kids face - one eye to one eye and youth to playful creature.
The only ideas that I have for enhancing this image are to use post-processing to bring viewer atttention quickly and strongly to the single eye. The hair line should then take the viewer around the face and then to the remainder of the image. -Perhaps lighten and color saturate the eye area.
