Thi sis an unusual flower. Very good use of depth of field for this one. The composition works, too, with the negative space at left, explored just a bit by those lovely leaves.

6 - Oh, nice. Mainly the background detracts in my opinion. A variation in composition may also have given this a little extra.

This is a very unusual and interesting flower. The background is a little busy for my taste - the strongly contrasting colors are a bit of a distraction. Perhaps a mild desat of the background would help to isolate the flower and make the subject 'stronger'.
