This was taken in the middle of a Starbucks in Hanford.. a friend of mine works magic with origami and so I asked him to bring some of his work and papers for me to play with.. hehe! The crane in this pic was about the size of a dime! ^_^

Interesting colors and shapes, but a little too busy. Is your subject the symbols or the swan? If the swan, it's not sharp enough.

Cute and colorful, but not entirely captivating. Focus is not sharp or depth of field is too shallow for my taste.

The shallow depth of field is hurting this image considerably. I like that you carried the Japanese theme into the background of the image; however, a tighter crop to eliminate the basic green-blue areas in the back corners would help the overall composition.

To my eye, I'm not sure if the point of focus should be the paper crane or the paper with the writing on th right. It just seems too busy.

I think the focus should either be on the crane or the depth of focus should be deeper. Just an opinion though. 5

Focus isn't good and the bird looks overexposed. I'd also suggest a less busy background (fewer paper patterns).

Some of the highlights are a little blown out, like the head of the crane. There could be a little more detail there. But an interesting picture...
