Pitty the center of the flower isn't in focus and a bit of the top is cut off.

I think this image could have benefitted from a greater DOF. Only the front part of the flower is in focus. Also, it might be a bit dark for my liking

This is a little too dark for me. Maybe if the black was on the same side as the shadow on the flower so that it looked more like the flower was fading into blackness. I just doesn't quite work as it is. Sorry.

nice color on this pansy. I like the lighting on the lower part of the photo and I probably would have cropped out everything and left the petal in the top right corner. As it stands, I don't like the lighting (or lack of) in the top part of the flower
