I like this one a lot. It sets a good mood. I would suggest to improve it, perhaps a composition on thirds. Now, you have dead space in the left of the pic. If the dog was on the left we would look at the dog, and then our eye would follow his gaze and we would wonder whats out there... Right now, we look at the dog follow his gaze and then check out the left of the photo and find nothing of intrest there.
