 Broken light bulb borrowing light from other sources to try and illuminate itself.

Not my first choice..The one I didn't choose had much yummier colours but less illumination..on the computer I liked this one better because of the composition.

I'm not liking the light of the colours too much but this was the best I could do with my limited skills.

Didn't do much to it except work with the colours and make this look less like I was working with crappy lighting conditions.

Not too amazing but I hope this'll suffice.

I think this should've scored alot higher. I didnt see the challenge but I really like this one. Mostly for the colors that you used.comp looks great to me.

When CDs first landed on this planet of monkeys, they seemed like jewels, something rare, power-giving, and mystical. These days they are something different - merely plastic. The CDs in this case do not showcase the glass and the spectral reflections of the CDs is a little washed out. Perhaps photographing the bulb on a dark base with CDs hanging from thin threads in the background to give bokeh etc would have made the bulb pop a little. (So to speak ;-)

All of the color is awesome, and you did a great job with the photo technically. The border also works well. Great job! (the fact that the lightbulb doesn't skrew in is also intersting to me)
