First time I am seeing this one! Don't know why I never came across this one in your portfolio. This one totally blows me away. Most excellent.

This is such a classy pic. The colours. The atmosphere. The sophistication.

So much more interesting than a set of spanners on a white table.

I like this picture a lot. Just for fun, I took this picture and converted it to black and white and played with the levels. It looks great in B&W also.

The steamy ambiance together with such well-oiled solidy (iron, copper, brass, leather) suggests a hands-on railroad idyll a la Kerouac. Such soiled elegance in black, red and white would credibly be serviced by a man in denim. Having only been a passenger on a train, I can't tell what the tool is or does. What the image does give me as a whole, is what it must be like (I can almost smell it too) to be a railroader.

If I strained to find one fault, I'd say the photo weighs a little too much to the left, likely due to the 'very light' section in the upper right of the picture.

cool shot. i like the closeup on the hands...if you would have had the full body shot i wouldn't have liked it as much..i wish more people ( including myself) would take shots like this as opposed to full profile. the smoke is great. nice timing.

this is a very successful image for me..can feel the heat, detail is good - especially like the balance bewteen the cloth in hand and cloth in pocket all diluted by steam. 9
