 After seeing the Chihuly's chandelier at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, I figured I'd have to use its exquisite colors as the backdrop to some subject. I found the subject in the broken branch that was very humble and simplistic in comparison to the amazing glass artwork of Dave Chihuly. I Figured it was attractive to the eye so I setup the shot.

The subject (branch) needs a bit more light on it; the background is nice in itself, but is a bit overpowering.

I wish the branch had either been completely silhouetted, or a little brighter. It's a nice composition though!
