Wow, what a challenge to be my first entry. I look forward to comments on my interpretation of this interesting technique. Reading through 11,12 pages of the forum I found there are certainly different schools of thought.
My PP was crop, levels, shadows, contrast - slight on all accounts.

I feel the thick black line at background left compeats too strongly for attention with the glass - and is too close to it. Otherwise, light and toneswere okay. Regards.
