What a wonderful shot this is .. It doesn't look much like desolation to me, but what a great shot .. Still a high score in my book.

very well composed, nice framing, with good focus, very sharp focus, you did well with the wide empty expanse, no civilization at all, just forest and hills, thanx for sharing.

This is very, very far from being desolate. Come to Brooklyn and I will show you canals so polluted they catch on fire.
