 This is a statue in a park in Altus, Oklahoma.
I am a bit leary on how the lighting will do in this contest. I had other shots where the lighting was much better, but it looked more like a statue. Personally, I think the over exposed look makes this look more like an old photograph.

Cropped, desaturated and curves adjusted in Photoshop.

Nice angle, although I would have prefered some "breathing" space in the direction he is looking. Otherwise good, very focused.

While generally I don't like frames or strak white backgrounds, in this instance I think the frame helps to offset the starkness of the white. I do quite like your compostion and choice of monuments (i am partial to native folks : ) ). Well done.
